Week Time Audit

Week Time Audit - student project

I have completed the week time audit and learned a few things. See the link for PDF versions of the full-week audit and the results page. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AuayhvshX3yZhtkmbUz_NShEFabTdQ?e=s1qkIx

My big takeaways are:

My work hours will be increasing over the next few months, almost doubling. Finding how to make the most of my time to fit in additional work hours but still have time for the things I need and want to do was the most important impetus for doing this Time Management Bootcamp class.

The time audit this week showed me that I am not up to anything much after about 6pm. That time is wasted most evenings, and yet, I do not have the mental focus left to do anything constructive with it. Soooo, I determined I'll try just going to bed earlier. It will likely result in me waking earlier, but that will just give me more morning time, and I'm good in the mornings.

My days are too varied to be able to make a plan that works for more than three days a week (M, T, and TH). Wed is much the same, only I'm leaving the house at 6pm for church. Fri, Sat, and Sun all have their own flow. Sat especially can vary widely from week to week. I think it all boils down to planning each day the evening before as a part of "prepare for bed."
