It was fun trying out the different techniques Irina teaches in this class, especially the brush control exercises (which I had never tried before):

 

 

I then tried some wet on dry and wet on wet techniques on supereasy flower shapes:

 

 

And then looked at some Pinterest reference photos for these flowers where I tried to blend different colors:
