Watercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster

This course took me through an introduction to Watercolor painting, including brushes, paints and paper types. I had the opportunity to learn  about watercolor characteristics, paint formats, basic brush strokes, washes, necessary techniques, how to use tracing paper and how to stretch paper. This was a comprehensive introduction for me as a beginner watercolor enthusiast. After completing this course I believe I have a great place to start my journey with watercolors. I appreciate the need for continuous practice of all that I have learnt. I am excited about this new aspect of my life and feel that though I have never believed that I have an artistic bone in my body, I can embark on this exciting new pastime with enthusiasm and know that it is okay to just enjoy the art of watercolor whatever my level of expertise. It can be solely an enjoyable pastime without any need to be great at it. So far I am loving it. Thank you Erika for explaining and demonstrating this course so expertly and thoroughly and with an obvious love for this medium. I look forward to further courses with you.Watercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 1 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 2 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 3 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 4 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 5 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 6 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 7 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 8 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 9 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 10 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 11 - student projectWatercolor 101 - Erika Lancaster - image 12 - student project
