This is my first doodle drawing after watching the tutorial videos, and it's still a work in progress.

I was thinking about filling the empty spaces with black for next step, and after that -  I'm kind of stuck, I don't know how can I make it pop more, make it look more interesting. Any suggestions?

After a bit more brainstorming, I came up with this. I think the character with the least detail is the mini "sun", which I'm quite scared to fill with any pattern because the sun in itself is a bright and shiny. I might even leave the little sun as it is.

 

Update: edited it a tiny little bit :D
