this is a two page spread I did in an old outdated text book that i have turned into an art journal. First, i soaked printer paper in coffee water and when it was dry, i printed out the vintage newspaper story on this paper. I then ripped up more coffee soaked paper and haphazardly glued it to the pages and then i added random patches of watercolor to this paper. I added flower stencils using acrylic paint and added brown marker to the edges of the images that i ripped from the coffee paper and added a little more coffee stain around the images. The three brown flowers are made from old orbital sanding pads. This was all glued down with wood glue. I really had to use what i had available in the house...
