I'm so happy you found my course useful! This patch looks really nice. I think you'll find that, unless this patch is in a high-friction area, the fabric around the patch will wear out before this stitching does (but that's okay because you can just add more - I currently have a pair of leggings that is slowly being taken over by lily pad patches; I'd love to see a solid color item being slowly taken over by plaid patches!)I see there is a potential for fraying a little at the edges of it (which I didn't go over in the course since I was focused on knit-type fabrics which don't really fray at all). Some fraying can be part of a style, but if it isn't part of the style you're going for, you can also stitch over the edges (since it's already done), or fold the edges under while basting the patch down early on.
