I wasn’t able to get the contrasting dark colors from the pastels … I have the basic 15 pastel set plus a few singles I purchased. They were also “melty melty” as Imran would say, very watery no matter how I mixed them, but I was able to add line work using a Parker desk fountain pen with a very fine nib and a Pentel brush pen. I’m intrigued by the fude nib - I have a Lamy, can I get a fude for that? On to my own design… I had a go at creating my own “Imran-ish” design and had better success mixing some darker colors. Practice makes perfect. Thanks again for the thorough introduction to these cool pastels.
