Tulip made from screen printed fabric

Isabel is a great teacher. Very well explained. And I love the tips on how you can ‘produce’ faster if you want to make more tulips with the same fabric.

it is really an enjoyable activity with textile. You just need a few things for it to make. You can use scrap fabrics like I did.

I wanted to test my own stencils on top of the green background fabric. This one had already a print but that one looked a bit like a snake skin. So that I wanted to adjust by adding a print on top.
For the but I used 5 layers of colour on a white background.

The most difficult part for me was connecting the but to the stem. But like Isabel said it is also about practice.

This also a good project you can dived in 4 moments if you don’t have much time in one go.

All the preparations

All the sewing with the machine

All the stuffing

All the handsewing.

The last 2 points you can do while watching television, listening to a podcast or outside in the sunshine.

Thank you for this lovely class.
