Tissue Collage Papers

Tissue Collage Papers - image 1 - student project

While waiting for the "no-rip" collage tissue paper to go on sale, I kept putting this project off, all the time dying to just let it rip! Well, it didn't rip. 😃 I grabbled what was leftover in the wrapping paper box, and cut it. I used the smaller papers after I did the cutting. Just right for a first go at this. I had been saving all manner of sponges for months. I cut them. I tried a bunch of shapes and colors. I was happy wityh some and unpleased with others. Here are the OK, bad and ugly. (Nothing pleased me as wonderful Daniela's pages did, but I got a feel for how to do this.)

Most important, I had serious fun and learned. Half-way through my play-time, I recalled how Daniela got her paint on the sponges with smaller dabs. Immediate change in my success and happiness quotient. Daniela, this was a wonderful class. Not a fan of tissue paper, after using ripped, colored tissue a paper for a collage, I actually began to LIKE this tissue project and definitely appreciated the opportunity to learn more!
