Time Sheet for the Year

Time Sheet for the Year - student project

I appreciate the thoroughness of this class. Our teacher, Kevin O'Brien, went over many basic details that are often overlooked by tutorials. If you're preparing to take this class make sure you work in a document and follow along with the lessons. The teacher makes it easy to follow. Also, think about taking your notes in the document with regular text or with the comments feature.

I learned a lot and feel much more comfortable branching out to make things. So, I made a time sheet to record my project working hours for the year.

It's Monday through Sunday because my work hours vary due to health reasons. I used the basic functions to get my totals.

On the right I have total hours for each project and day of the week. I also included averages to see if I can get an idea about how long it takes to get certain things done and how long I can work with my current health status.

The pie chart is to make sure I'm putting the right amount of time into the right projects.

Since I'm a very visual person, I color coded by quarter.

Even though I could make a simple dashboard with what I learned in this class, I made a sheet to fill in as I finish things up just to see how much I accomplished instead. I don't think I need any more information.

I'm looking forward to making more things.
