TheThumbprint: Showcasing My Artwork

TheThumbprint: Showcasing My Artwork - student project

I recently redid my branding to be a little more neutral so that my artwork would stand out against it. My website got a refresh with new logo, color palette, and updated portfolio and about me sections.

Personal Portfolio Website: thethumbprint.com

I chose to go with a lighthearted, but informative, "Wikipedia-style" About section to give a more robust background than just my work resume would provide.

Trying to keep up with my Instagram a little more. I'm always creating some sort of illustration/design/animation so I'm just stopping my process (as this class said) to actually catalogue my progress through pictures and videos.

Random opinion needed: Should I update my user profile to be an illustration instead of a picture of my face? Does it matter?

I've updated my LinkedIn recently too. Now I just have to update my resume to match the same look and feel as my LinkedIn too. I don't really use Facebook or Tumblr. Is Tumblr really worth it anymore?

Conclusion: This was a really hard assignment for me. I'm not comfortable talking about myself in pretty much any capacity so this did force me out of my comfort zone to throw myself out there. Critiques and follows welcome on all the above platforms! Happy Skillsharing!
