Dialogue

Claire watched as her friend jumped out of tree, carrying the elegant 200-year-old tea set of his mother.

“You didn’t, did you? Not really?  Please tell me you didn’t take your mother tea set.” She said in a pleading tone.  

“I took it as revenge.” He said turning to look at her. His hazel eyes gleamed with mischievousness.  Claire could feel her heart beating faster as his gaze stayed on her. She walked over and tried to take the set from him but he pulled away?

“What do you think you are doing Claire; my mom deserves punishment after grounding me!”  he shouted as he was pulling away and running toward the pond.

“Get back her Malcom! You will break the set if you continue running and then your mom will have your head!” she said as she ran after him. Claire felt the warm summer wind brush against her face as she chased him down the hill.
