I choose the B-52 's because i loved them when I was younger. I love their music but also their pretty crazy graphic world. Here my collection of LP :

For the poster I want to focus on one of the girl of the band and her crazy hair style and decide to put the lettering in her hair : here my sketche :

It look a little strange like that, but I am not really good with sketches. I have a other idea with the other members of the band in her hair...

A few words for define my concept : for me the B-52's are :

– fun, crazy, happy

– a band from a another planet

– fifties spirit mix with the eighties.

– crazy haircut...

For the inking I use micro pen and I draw each element separately.

For the final poster I used 3 colors : red, yellow, black blue and halftones of the yellow (for the hair) and of the red.
