With Thanksgiving being a huge seasonal event I decided to recolour an exhisting illustration using the Inheirited Garden palette. I thought it was a perfect opportunity to use what I already had, a traditional Christmas dinner ( which I created last year) and rearrange the layout along with colourway. This is how it looked before : 

As most of the food elements where PS files placed into Ai I was able to change to the richer Inheirited colours with ease. And I also scattered few watercolour leaves to set the scene for a Thanksgiving gathering. It would never have occurred to me to use a deep emerald / teal in the tablecloth but I think it’s a perfect accompaniment to the wine and pale grey blue dinnerware. Overall I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

Furthermore I realised I had foodie watercolour sketches that fitted in with this palette. So I hope to create another illustrated recipe using this highly versatile scheme soon
