Textures & Patterns in Blue and Yellow

My pattern making materials were:

1) oatmeal 2) rice 3) quinoa 4) kosher salt 5) sponges sitting on the paint 6) dish soap 7) rubbing alcohol 8) contact solution 9) used dryer sheet 10) embroidery floss 11) plastic bag 12) masking fluid.

I was surprised at the patterns the contact solution, dryer sheet, embroidery floss, and plastic bag made. The oatmeal and the sponges did not work as well as I'd hope. The dish soap- it made an interesting pattern but is still wet when everything else has dried. But my paper smells nice!!

I had done some of these experiments before- the salt, rice, rubbing alcohol, and masking fluid, but none of the others. It was entertaining to see what else is possible. I enjoyed the class!
