This bears little resemblance to what I'd imagined even though I kept my expectations low. It looks more like origami trees than Sakura trees. ha ha Still haven't mastered washes, loose, flowy, and the like. But, I am now giving myself credit for showing up, getting more practice, and allowing the struggle to just be okay. Nina, I appreciated your gentle persuasion to try this exercise, and I put my doodling practice aside to go ahead and do this. It was good to hear you repeatedly  say to just enjoy it and let it happen, and not to try to control an outcome, and I did enjoy it and didn't let frustration take me over. Kept reminding myself to experiment and discover. So, I am really glad I did it!!

I'd love to put some blame on this paper, as I don't recall what kind it is, but it sure looks like it should be watercolor paper. :-D
