This painting threw me for a minute. I was drawn to the colors and style but I actually thought the charcoal strip and half plate on the right side was part of the painting - which would have made an interesting composition/contrast. Nice piece.

As abstract as it is, I feel like I'm there in the moment. Like I could breath in the air, feel the grass and smell the rain. If you ever see this again Constanze, Did you use the piece of cardboard for all of it? I think that was super creative and I might try using different methods of applying paint during the 30 or 100 day challenge!

I used the cardboard spatula for most of the painting and did some finishing touches with a smaller palette knife :)
