I’m still finding skin tones quite tricky, but it’s early days still.  I had a fair bit of trouble trying to get the darker-toned baby’s skin just right.  My ultramarine is granulating and it just didn’t seem the right combination, so I switched my blue part was through the painting to DS Phthalo blue turquoise (with quin purple and transparent orange).  The skin ended up a bit blotchy too (kind of blotchy on the other baby too, but not as noticeably maybe).  Much more practice and more swatching needed to come up with the best colour combinations for the various skin tones!
