Everything is a work in progress, so why not my final project too. I am simultaneously learning to draw, figuring out Procreate, and how to plan and create a cohesive collection that makes sense without just being “variations on a theme”.

So, I’ve been thinking about roller skates a lot. I went with skates and stars (and WOW a lot of pink) for my hero. Maybe as my skills improve, my main patterns will get more complex. Shrug. Then because I was already in girly-girl (or whoever) world, I went all in with rainbows. Why not? I actually just bought a pair of skates for myself that are light blue and yellow. I’m thinking of revisiting these designs in those colors.

 

There you have it. I don’t really think I’m done with this collection, so I didn’t spend the extra time converting to Pantone colors and including that info. But putting it all together was a great exercise.
