Brushing up on my Illustrator Skills. This was a fun project. Florals are always nice to explore no matter what the medium. Simple shapes that leave lots of room for experimentation. Following along with the class and then playing with my own shape combinations helped deepen my understanding. Repetition and play... Here's my practice artboard:

And then taking it a step further, I came across ideas of color combinations that didn't work, took some tweaking, and some worked out eventually, others I am still not happy with. Here's the artboard with all my creations as well as the final choices you've already seen on the cover image:

I am happy with 6 out of 10. And out of these, two are my absolute favorites. Which ones do you like best - please feel free to share in the comments.
