took me longer than I expected, but here's all my assignments :)

 

I'm not 100% sure I really understood all the principles you talked about. For example any time you talked about not being lighter than on the light side and then went on and picked some lighter colors you completely lost me..

I'm hoping it will just sink in with time, but I also plan to do some additional reading. I've never went beyond the "lines phase". All my sketches are basically line art :> 

I'm also a beginner at photoshop. Toward the end you were using clipping masks and other stuff I don't remember, and I really just copied the steps you did without even knowing what I'm doing. What is a clipping mask? What's it used for generally? How is it different from a regular layer? Could you maybe recommend a tutorial on those "technical" questions? I know there's a bunch on skillshare, but I haven't dared to start one of the 18 hour long PS for Beginner classes yet :> If you know any good source that would be greatly appreciated!
