As a class project, we will draw a seaside landscape scene with a girl character on a bicycle with a dog in a basket. We will add a lot of greenery and flowers to create a lush summer day feel.

You can follow my process step by step and create the project illustrating with the same references that I do, or you can use your own references.

I am sharing my approach in the sketching and drawing lessons on how you can use your own references when creating a digital illustration in Procreate like this. 

We will look at a variety of references and create a lot of sketches together based on those references before diving in and creating the full project illustration. (You can see the preview in the class trailer :)

When using your own references, you can, for example, create a different character pose, draw a different bicycle, draw the character in the car, etc. You can let your creativity go wild :)
