Deciding on the subject matter was as easy as looking around the kitchen. Ah-hah! A blender!

While I normally sketch on paper, I set up an isometric grid in Photoshop and did my sketch there.

Afterwards I brought my sketch into Adobe Illustrator to create it in it's vector form. I spent a lot of time playing with stroke weights and colours but finally came to the following design.

Finally, I decided that the blender needed some friends. So I designed some more of his companions from the Kitchen :)
