Hi Vesta, I, too, love the pears - they are so beautifully painted. The tulips are also wonderful and while the one you crossed out isn’t as dynamic as the other one, it is quite nice! And silly me, I really find the other two studies in color on the page with pears to be quite interesting.

Hi Vesta, You do beautiful work and clearly have a lot of talent as a watercolor painter. I started doing classes on Skillshare in March after experimenting on my own with YouTube. I just didn’t understand color mixing or how to apply watercolor or how to use brushes. 

It has been incredible finding the classes that speak to me. Jen Dixon and Chris Carter have been pivotal. Chris’ classes  on color wheel mandalas was my break through on color mixing and I realized yesterday when choosing colors for a project, that I had a confidence in what I was doing when picking a palette. A BIG moment for me!

It is really exciting when things come together and wonderful things start to happen...such as your pears and tulips!
