For this project, I selected the lioness as the subject of my drawings. I found a bunch of lioness references of different angles with a simple google search.

I began by practicing the negative space observation exercise.

Next, I proceeded to practice a few quick sketches of lionesses from multiple angles.

Finally, I moved onto trying my hand at a final rendering of a lioness.
