Practice.

 I carved the house. Then the bird which I made smaller to fit on the piece of rubber I had. Then I tried my own design - the flowers. I don't have a problem carving, except for keeping my lines straight. But I get in trouble when I refine it and go around the edges. I guess I need to keep practicing.
