I have hopscotched through many of your tips/techniques, but after taking this class, I know I have not settled down long enough to know if any works. As an editor, I want each sentence to be perfect - I will stop and just write. 

 

Can't stop - won't stop' will be my mantra. I tend to stop when I feel stuck. 

I will be:-

- Plotting for my story that I have placed on pause for months ; 

- My tools are a laptop and a quiet corner 

- I like background noise, but instead of the TV, I will try a playlist of songs I think my main character would be listening to (so the TV will go); 

- I had a time of 60 minutes, but I will be setting that goal to 30 minutes and take it from there; 

- I like the idea of being a panster, but I will give plotting a chance to see what happens. I may surprise myself. 

 

I already jump around, which works for me, so I am sticking to that. I used to feel that I was doing something unwise.
