You can create a colored pattern with them but you will need to create at least two pattern brushes: one for the line drawings and one for the watercolor strokes. If you want different colors for your watercolors you will need to create a new pattern for each of them or use a brush to add different colors after the pattern is created.
If you don't mind the black lines turn into white or into the same color of the watercolors, you can create a different brush for each object and then combine them using different colors.

The question is, what do you want your pattern for? If you want to create a pattern to upload it to Society6, Redbubble... in order to create products, I think it will be better if you just use the selection tool to get rid of the background and simply copy and paste your drawings in the canvas. You can follow the same steps to create a seamless pattern but without creating the brush at the end.

Hi Blenda! This is looking good! If they don't match you can also draw straight lines (or a grid) in a new layer and use them as a reference. ;)

Also wondering...how do I add drawings from my sketchbook to create a pattern? Can this be done?

Of course you can! You just have to go to "Actions" then "Image" and finally "Insert a photo". Once you have it inserted in the canvas, use the selection tool or the eraser to keep only the parts of the drawing you want for your pattern. Rearrange your drawings in the canvas if it's necessary and then copy and paste them as usual in the grain area of a new brush. I will publish a video for you as soon as possible about this. I will keep you posted ;)

Thank you, Lettie, Will this also work if you have colored watercolor sketches or can you only make black and white stamps? I will attach some watercolor drawings that I want to make into patterns so you can see what I trying to do.

If you use colored drawings when creating a brush, Procreate will turn them into grayscale. You can create several stamp/pattern brushes, as we did in the previous class (Tutorial 5 _Video 5: Gradient stamps), to get a stamp/pattern with different colors. 
Upload the drawings you want to transform into patterns and we will see how to do it. :)
