Patterns as Reflection
This felt like a map of my relationships. Some connections are distant but strong, while others are more scattered. Drawing this helped me notice the people and environment around me.
This project is a collection of patterns created through the class, drawn slowly and intuitively over time.
Each piece felt like a different reflection. Some patterns helped me notice connection and distance, while others brought up contrast, boundaries, resilience, and flow. Instead of planning the outcome, I focused on repetition, movement, and staying present with what was unfolding on the page.
Working this way helped me slow down, release control, and use simple lines and shapes to process emotions gently. The practice felt grounding and reflective, and it reminded me to pay attention to both my inner experience and the environment around me.
