This is my first project in Adobe Illustrator! I decided to create a party themed pattern, which I can use later for party invitations or wrapping paper! 

Here is a snapshot from my first steps. I struggled a little bit with the commands, but I'm sure I'll get better with practice.

Later I made some adjustments, I used strokes on some shapes and I also experimented with colors and swatch libraries. 

This is the pattern I created. I moved and scaled the objects multiple times to make the pattern look more balanced. But I think it still needs more adjustments!
