Thank you! I wouldn’t even know where to begin. I don’t have a process I repeat every single time. It’s feeling really. How can someone teach this? What I can say is: observation! Colours and shapes. Once you train yourself to really observe what you’ll draw, it doesn’t matter what it is, you can do it.

You draw beautifully. If you ever record your drawing on YouTube I would love to watch.

Thank you! No, I don’t. My pencil drawings needed at least 30h of work (sometimes weeks and more than 200h) so it’s impossible to record the whole thing. And I only have my phone to take photos and record videos. I uploaded some short videos to my IGTV though.

Hi Cristina, The stickers are amazing! I love how you did the die cut around the flowers, it makes them look so special. I just saw your profile here on Skillshare. It really does! It’s the same when I print one of my coloured pencil drawings. Even though I’ve done them on paper, the print is different. I plan to use some of them on other products such as cards and stickers.

I used to do realistic coloured pencil pieces so it’s quite natural to me. I am also used to marathon pieces (some needed weeks and more than 200h to be done), so these butterflies were a pleasure to draw even if the needed 40 to 70h of work each. I am slowly building a series with moths now. One ready, one in progress. I hope to be able to complete the series soon.

Hi Christina, This is gorgeous. I'm glad you tried the class using other brushes too, if something is not your style (like watercolor brushes) then it's important to make something you'll feel comfortable with and it obviously paid off. The butterfly looks real! The flower background has so much detail! Thanks so much for sharing. This one is so subtle yet beautiful. It has that autumn vibes. I loved it, Christina. Could you share the background paper if possible...?? And what pencil did you use to draw the flowers?

Thank you! We don’t have butterflies in autumn here, unfortunately... 
I used a cold press watercolour paper texture I’ve bought, so I can’t share it, but you can easily find many on Etsy, Design Cuts and such. As for the pencil, I used the 6B pencils from Procreate for the background. I am still adding more flowers to the collection. I draw them dark grey and then use alpha lock to recolour the arrangements (I’ve done two more butteryafter this one).

Oh I see you didn’t use the same brushes. Would you be willing to share which ones you used? For both the flowers and the butterfly! Killer! I just saw the second one you made on IG. I am dead it’s so good.

Today I finished preparing print proofs of both butterflies and I am really happy with them! Tomorrow I’ll spend the day printing and packing them.
I had already drawn the flowers and the butterfly was already almost half done when Sandra released her class, that’s why I didn’t use watercolour brushes. But her class inspired me to put these elements together.
I used Procreate 6B pencil for the flowers (I recoloured them here as they were dark grey), Procreate Airbrushes brushes and fur brushes I bought on designcuts.com to create the hairs and blend some areas. I used blending tool a lot to mix colours and blend them.

I had already drawn some flowers for another project and was already drawing this butterfly when I received an email announcing this new class.
I didn&rsquo;t use the watercolour brushes since I had already done half of the butterfly but I downloaded the pack and the brushes are awesome!&nbsp;
Sandra&rsquo;s class is fantastic and very inspiring!&nbsp;
