Your project

Your project for this class is to draw a simple illustration inspired by a memory that is dear to you, as I showed in the class.  

Once you complete the illustration, you may post the image in the project gallery. If you create your illustration digitally as I had, you could post a .png or jpg file of it. 

 

But if you decide to draw the illustration by hand, you can take a picture of your finished illustration instead and post that in the project gallery. 

 

You can also share a picture of your diary note, polaroid photo, or any of your favorite, old items to show us the source of inspiration for your illustration.

 

 

About my illustration

Now, my illustration is inspired by a photo my friends and I had taken at Naseef House on our field trip there.

The house in the background is Naseef House, the historic house we went to see on our field trip. I wanted to include both the house and my friends in the illustration. 

 

So, that's what I did: I made a simple drawing inspired by Naseef house first. Then, I made a minimal drawing of my friends and me to depict us standing in front of the house.
