It was a fun challenge to try to capture the personality of my little dog in a collage portrait. I loved digging through my old books that are set aside for collage and my cardstock to explore the textures. Simplifying each component into shapes helped a lot and helped let go of worry that it wasn't an exact copy of my pet.
