Thank you for the lesson, I enjoyed it a lot! The colors on the picture are shifted to the cold side comparing to real life - should be vibrant orange and turquoise.

Concept of putting light wash in the shadow area and adding mid-tone color on top is very new to me and very helpful.

I tend to be very heavy on layering watercolors and bigger cast shadow struggled from it..
