Here is my one point perspective sketch using the technique from this awesome class.

This is my one point perspective piece of furniture for project 1. I chose to try out my new Procreate watercolour brush set and paper texture for this project.

I can’t wait to get started on illustrating the room now.

I couldn’t help myself, I carried on tweaking the illustration. I felt that it was a bit flat, so I added more shading and made a watercolour pattern brush to apply to the back, as if it had been decorated with wallpaper. And also decided to try out the mock up canvas that came with the Procreate brush set that I used.

This is my sketch for Project 2, not sure if I’ve included too much detail but couldn’t help myself. Not sure if it needs a console table under the gallery wall, any input would be gratefully accepted.

I will be using Alexandra’s Free Brush set and her Marrakech colour palette, which is lovely and warm. I want to create a cosy relaxed vibe so this is ideal.

Project 2, a cosy relaxed room in one point perspective. It took me a couple of attempts to create an illustration I was happy with as I still need more practice.

I love Alexandra’s use of light so I also created a romantic night time version with a log fire and candles.
