I had this crazy idea to make this project into a regional piece based on where I live. While I can't compete with the allure of the mediterranean, I realized we New Englanders have our own recognizable objects and so... I made a pattern out of them. I think the mediterranean masterpiece is a lot more sunny and cute, but hey, this is unapologetically reserved and New England-y, right down to a color palette I created that includes lots of colors found here. ALSO: just after I posted I noticed a similar project from a student in CA - the other side of the US. Now we have east and west coast represented here! Fun class, Claire, time well spent.
