Nash My Boy

Ok, so I found this very challenging and very engaging, what a treat!

More sketches, I was finally getting somewhere with this little guy I wasn't just drawing Nash, but I was taking into account his littler personality, which proved to be challenging.

quirky guy, but not quite right- he definitely has a little "derp face" that tight little smile, it's the cutest.

Very dishevelled and adorable, but not quite right- I felt like I was missing the creating a character part...

Nash My Boy - image 5 - student projectI felt like I was getting closer to creating a character that could be done in a million different poses but would still keep his quirky characteristics...

I'm really happy with how it turned. Nina's classes always push me beyond what I think I can do, and I ultimately end up creating something that differs from my norm- I learn so much, and I appreciate the push and I am always proud of the work I produce in her class!

I hope you like it- This is Nash, He's a quirky little chocolate trio colour Havanese- who is very spoiled, and is at this moment begging me to take him out!

Thanks for the class NINA!

Melissa

Ps- Finished the project yesterday- and today we had snow this morning, and here was Nash...hahaha
