Hi Carmen! Well done and I am extremely glad that you tried a solvent marker for blending. Always great to experience and learn. Yes, it does work and the results are impressive after using it. The only reason why I don’t use one(although it speeds up the process)is because it runs out soon :) You can also check the Derwent Blender Pen. It is specifically meant for Colored Pencils.

Thanks for feedback, I have actually found a blender pencil by Prisma that I must have ordered at one time. I will try it out in your next class.

LOL,,, I swear we are on the same path.  I want to try it all too. It’s only been a short journey in watercolors, but I think that’s where my heart is.  I’m eclectic by nature.  Everything I do is all over the place :) :) :)

1 twin does it one way and the other twin the other way???? :) :). Let me know how they do.  I just bought some inktense pens to try out. They should be here today and I’ll let you know how they go.

I guess I have not colored since a child (ages ago). Tried my best following along. I only have Prismacolor premiere 36 set and I used strathmore colored pencil paper 400 series is 100lb weight.
Will keep trying.
 
UPDATE - I actually found a solvent marker and used that and  blended it better. I am not sure if that was the right method as I might have ordered that solvent marker to blend alcohol markers...So many products to try!

 This was taken after I used this solvent marker to cover some white specks..is it better?
