First I gathered my tools and paper for the project.

 

Then I found some images to get me inspired to paint!

 

Next, I started with the base color in the pattern which were tan boxes evenly spaced.

 

 

Then I added the second color which was black/grey stripes.

 

 

Last I finished it off with the thin red stripes.

 

 

Now I have a finished fabric print to use as a study for a fashion illustration, background for graphic design.
