Collect inspiration to find your idea
I knew I wanted to do something with flames and candy corn. Some ideas I had were:
- to use a box of pencils as matches
- to light a candle with a candy corn
- to strike a match
Sketch out your story
I narrowed in on a very specific idea, of just lighting the match. And then identified a beginning, middle, and end – you see the match, you strike it, and then it is lit.
Test your idea
Since we were working on this class with the Skillshare team, we asked them what they thought and got some feedback from them. They loved it!
