2 ways to boost your mailing list:
1) regular content creation
2) getting interviewed/doing interviews/collabs/PR activities in your area of interest

Your content should:
- not be self-centred
- not rely on trends /current events
- not rely on quantity over quality
- serve your intended audience

Careful w/ mailing lists:
- don't spam
- ensure you're personalising emails/product suggestions
