 Introduction to Bohemian Watercolor Techniques 

Hi Mira! Wow I love the progression you had from you first feather to you last, your last one is so light, fluffy and has so much movement! you capture the details of the feather in all 4 but they definitely got better as you went along! I love your take on the feather project! I would love to see your take on painting moons next! xx Casey

Thank you for your kind comments, Casey! I'm pleased with the movement too but, as you can see, I'm having trouble with the transitions between colors, especially from tan to brown. I'm trying different techniques and the the transition is still so visible :(  Would love your opinion on that if you get a change! :)

Hi Mira, are you using watercolor for these or are you using mixed media of pencils as well? if it is just watercolor, your fine lines are very impressive. I would think your transition is visible because you aren't using enough water to allow the color to mix together on the paper, can you try one more feather with more water used? You may not get as much of the fine line detail but your colors will blend easier which is the beauty of watercolor paints.

I painted the same feather 4 times to get a more accurate sense of improvement. Do you see any progress from one to another or first to last?
