I started with a large brush, chose a paper and a basic watercolor set.  

I painted a few tulip shaped blobs, letting the brush bristles create sharp edges at the bottom.  This gives the look of petals without getting too detailed.

Then, I used a small round brush to paint some curved green lines for stems.  The curved lines make the flowers look like they are drooping naturally.

My simple painting is complete!
