first i watched the videos then for my drawing i decided with the eyes nose and mouth use the eye, nose and mouth i'd come up with in separate drawing on my own. this really helped me with the hair and the positioning on the facial features.

This is my pencil sketch, the eyes i put them too close together but they look similar enough and i feel i have done the hair better. The hair i had an updo in mind though i could have made the bangs thicker.
