What a beautiful and touching painting Landis. For a first watercolour dog portrait this is such a heartfelt result, you can really feel the care and intention behind it. The eyes are especially engaging and give the portrait so much personality and presence. I love how you handled the soft transitions in the fur and kept the overall feeling calm and gentle. I am very sorry for your loss, and it is clear you painted this with a lot of love.

This is my dog that I lost last year.  He was a goof and I tried to capture his personality.
