My spin on your thumbnail project.  I did have some issues trying to find a png or transparent University of York image, so I decided to refresh my memory of other Photoshop techniques while creating and drop the Uni logo.  The crop is off.  It seems like such as basic thing that I should already know, but including what size the image should be to optimize the various crops where they are used as thumbnails would be very helpful.  Maybe I just messed that detail.  I kind of hate where this one is now cropped and want to avoid that in the future.  I'm attaching my uncropped image.
