MY PROJECT

1. Who are some musicians you look up to and why?

Some musicians I look up to include Jimi Hendrix for his incredible creativity and guitar mastery, John Mayer for his soulful guitar playing and songwriting, and Ludovico Einaudi for his beautiful, emotional piano compositions. I admire these musicians for their unique voices and how they blend technique with emotion in their music. Their ability to connect with listeners on a deep level is something I aspire to.

2. Are there certain sounds you’re more curious about than others?

I’m particularly fascinated by ambient and atmospheric sounds—things that create a sense of space, mood, and emotion. I enjoy experimenting with reverb, delay, and layered textures that can evoke different feelings, whether it's a sense of calm or tension. I’m also curious about how different genres blend, like classical and electronic, and how they can create something unique.

3. What is something your favorite songs and musicians have in common?

The common thread among my favorite songs and musicians is their ability to tell a story or evoke emotion. Whether it’s a deeply personal lyric, a beautifully crafted instrumental solo, or the way the music makes me feel, there's a connection to authenticity and vulnerability. These artists are not afraid to express themselves in ways that resonate with listeners.

4. What is something in your guitar practice that you already gravitate towards or enjoy working on?

I naturally gravitate toward fingerpicking and melodic lines that blend seamlessly into chord progressions. I enjoy experimenting with how individual notes in a melody can complement the rhythm of the chords, creating a more intricate and emotional sound. There’s something satisfying about combining technical precision with emotional expression.

5. What is the sound you’ve created that you love the most?

The sound I’m most proud of is a soft, ambient guitar layer mixed with subtle background synths. It creates a dreamy, almost cinematic atmosphere that feels both peaceful and profound. When I find the right combination of effects, it’s like the sound fills the space with a sense of warmth and intimacy. I love how it draws people in, allowing them to lose themselves in the moment.
