Losing myself in screens maybe my present world, But it Will not be my endgame.

Social Media has a lot of upsides depending on the way we use it. However it can quickly become our biggest downside if we are not careful. I personally had a social media addiction for so long, and I woke up one morning and said enough is enough. I need to get back to being myself instead of trying to be someone else, That is probably the worst thing about social media comparing yourself to other people. It is truly a poison and there are ways to avoid that however most people who use social media never take the time to take the plunge for themselves. For example this person who likes this person tastes for music on an instagram post, just because they like it doesn't mean you actually like it you're just contracting yourself liking someone else's interest that is not yours. This is why i believe self respect is so important and also learning about what you actually like vs what someone else likes.

Being addictied to Social Media can lead to horrible things for yourself unless you make the change for yourself that you need to wake up and get out of a world that doesn't exist. Call an artifical world if you will social media is just an imagery that we put our faces on and millions of people around the world can see what we do. There are many ways you can counter this addiction to ultimately regain yourself and your attention span. I was also addicted to social media because I was feeling lazy and hiding from my actual problems in the world, also I was jealus of certain people having certain things in their own life that I don't have in mine. That just forced me to delete all of social media because I cannot be an imposter for myself I have to stay true to who I am not just to become somebody else. I am making this change because I need to live in the real world not the artifical world and by cutting off social media addiction will help me in ways that I haven't thought of before and most importantly saving my brain from destroying itself.
