Whew! This class was a challenge for me! I have not ever painted a landscape or seascape before, so this is a first.

I used a combo of DS and WN paint and Arches. 

I had a difficult time with the water. I took progress photos as I was painting, and after reviewing those, I have more insight to what I would do next time.

 

This was an excellent class by Will, and my challenge was due to my inexperience. Will is a wonderful teacher and guides every step of the way!

 

(Note to self!) If I were to try this again, for something different I might leave out the middle rocky area to fully give more emphasis on the lighthouse and rocky structure, and maybe try to lighten up the water a bit with more transparent light washes. It would be fun to try, there are so many possibilities!
