Taking the leadership class was a valuable experience that helped me gain clarity on what it truly means to lead. I learned that leadership isn’t just about authority—it’s about inspiring, listening, and empowering others to work toward a shared vision.

What stood out to me most was being a shield and leading by example. I realized that being a leader means being accountable, open to feedback, and committed to personal growth. It also highlighted how important it is to understand group dynamics, and motivate others with authenticity.

 

I feel more confident in stepping into leadership roles, especially as I pursue becoming the head of a student PR committee. I’m ready to bring what I’ve learned into practice, not just to lead, but to make a meaningful impact.
